Two Mile Creek Park At Lake Lanier

If you have not visited Two Mile Creek Park on Lake Lanier, you will enjoy its scenic beauty and find the park to have a very relaxing setting. The park is located in Forsyth County at the end of Bethel Road on Lake Lanier. I visited on a weekday near the end of July. It was a hot day and the weather was starting to get a little overcast as I shot a few photos of the lake and park grounds. There is a boat launch, plenty of picnic tables and lots of wide open spaces with expansive views of Lake Lanier. Our lake water level was down about six feet on this day, and the low water level was evident in the exposed shoreline and visible red Georgia clay.
