Wow! What a beautiful weekend we had on Lake Lanier. Lots of meetings with clients, friends and folks looking to be lake home owners. The weather has really kicked into Spring mode, and the annual yellow pine pollen has arrived.
With the arrival of Spring, we always have our favorite HVAC company visit our lake home and do the seasonal cleaning. We have been using the services of +Lawson Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Inc. for years now, and they have been spectacular. They checked out the AC system, cleaned the filters, completed the preventive maintenance and were on their way. Additionally, Spring is the time to recommission the boat and have everything checked over and prepared for the boating season. +Marinemax of Georgia Cumming provided that service on Friday and we hit the water promptly.
Venturing out for the first time this season, we headed to +Port Royale Marina for a quick fuel fill and then proceeded to cover a lot of territory on Lake Lanier. One of our turns took us way up the cove near Fields Ford Road and Chestatee Heights Road. As we approached the back of the cove, the land became very steep and rocky. Tucked away in the corner of the cove was this small, scenic waterfall!
I couldn't help but grap a quick photo and a brief video to share! Let us know where you've found waterfalls on Lake Lanier. They may be a little hard to find, but they are in our lake geography.

Here's a fun Lake Lanier based video that we came across this morning! I say fun, but unique is probably a better description. It is about a three minute video taken from an FPV quadcopter. The entire video was taken from the air at a low level, and provides a very different view of the grounds at Young Deer Creek Park on Lake Lanier in Cumming, Georgia. There are plenty of parks providing recreation, camping, hiking trails and more all around Lake Lanier.
