Last week, I was able to take the SeaRay out for lunch on Lake Lanier on a couple of occasions. One of those outings was a lunch stop at Skogies, which is located at Gainesville Marina. We've dined outside under the trees at Skogies on a number of occasions. The food is the big draw at Skogies, and as waterfront dining on Lake Lanier stacks up, Skogies delivers consistently good food. I really enjoy the fish tacos and my wife always likes the Grouper fingers. When you bring man's best friend, you'll be dining at the tables in the shade just outside the restaurant. That was the case for us last week. Here's a shot of my lake navigator, Beignet, as she waits for a few table scraps.
