It was a very good weekend at Lake Lanier, and it all started on Friday when we began showing homes in Harbour Point Yacht Club! Harbour Point Yacht Club is located in Gainesville, Hall County on Lake Lanier. It is a well-developed, gated community in a tremendous setting with an absolutely awesome clubhouse, swimming pool, and community marina. While we were visiting, I managed to take a few quick photos of the Marina area which faces out to the Chestatee River. This is a very deep water cove area with a paved path around the docks making it easily accessible. This morning, we headed out by water to take a few pics of Harbour Point, as viewed from the water.  There are numerous, multi-slip docks and a centralized marina with a golf cart path near the shoreline.  As a matter of fact, golf carts are a common mode of transportation in the community.  Located along the Chestatee River just north of Boling Bridge, this community seems almost mountainous from the water.  Here's the Google Map location of Harbour Point.
