Fourth Of July At Lake Lanier

Happy Fourth Of July! I hope all of you had a great fourth. Our Lake Lanier was the place to be on July 4, 2006. We had a great day on the lake as we got together with friends for a little lunch at Dockside Grill at Holiday Marina. To celebrate the holiday, I scarved down a big Docker with cheese. A great cheesburger and fries with a little island music on the side. The Dockside Grill is an easy setting for enjoying a little food on the water. The restaurant was busy but there were no waits when we pulled in at about 12:30 lunch time. After enjoying a great lunch and music, we headed over to a cove near Lake Lanier Islands and decided to cool off in the water while we enjoyed a view of the golf course and watched the Canadian Geese swim around us! Nothing could be more relaxing than floating in Lanier's cool water on a hot summer day. After a few hours we headed back in before the rain showers hit, and we continued our evening by preparing for Wednesdy's real estate activities. A fabulous holiday and a relaxing getaway.
