Nix Bridge Park At Lake Lanier

I have been driving up to Dawson and Lumpkin Counties a lot lately. Today I traveled to the Harmony Church Road area of Dawson County. The road turns off of Highway 400 just north of the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall and heads East / Northeast towards Gainesville. My initial trip was planned to preview a couple of homes in the Chestatee River area. After doing a couple of drive by viewings, I decided to head to Nix Bridge park and snap a few photos. The weather has been rainy and cold. Today's temp reached only into the low forties. The park was very quiet and I was the only visitor around three o'clock this afternoon when I took these photos.
