Today, as part of our throwback series we are highlighting this waterfront property located at 8960 Fields Way in Gainesville, Georgia. We assisted our client in buying this home in June of 2004! This was a really cute lake home with the Corps' Line very near the waterfront. There was a single-slip dock in place. This was a three bedroom, two and a half bath home on a full finished basement. It had a huge wall of windows across the back of the home and a very large deck! Total square footage was about 2,192, so it wasn't an enormous home. It also had one of the steepest, switch-back driveways that I have ever encountered on Lake Lanier! However, it was located on a street of very luxurious, high-end lake homes, and it had good water and very nice views. All in all, this was a great buy at $480,000!
