Lake Lanier Home Sales Continue Their Strong Trend With The Latest July Numbers!

Once again, Lake Lanier home sales for the month were notably strong as the summer sales activity continues on its heated pace. We did our monthly digging in the MLS system, and here's what we are reporting for the month of July.  This report includes waterfront homes listed with a dock on Lake Lanier. It does not include mobile or modular homes in this report.

Here are the numbers from our research of July lake home sales.
  • 27 Lake Lanier home sales
  • The average size home was four bedrooms with 3 and 1/2 baths
  • The average year built was 1985
  • The average sales price was $645,244
  • The sales price to original list price ratio was 92.70%
  • The average total days on market was 92
These are pretty strong numbers.  For example, when we compare January-July of 2014 with January-July of 2015, we see that the average Lake Lanier home sales price in 2015 is up by about 15%! That's great news for Lake Lanier home owners!  And as a result, Lake Lanier home buyers will probably continue to see a rise in prices as inventory remains tight.
