Okay, Okay!  You get the point!  We were back at one of our favorite dining spots near Lake Lanier last night.  Rico's World Kitchen!  And they brought the goods once again.  Unbelievable, fantastic dinner.  Always great food, fun atmosphere, fun and happy servers!  Located at 306 West Main Street in downtown Buford, this dining hot spot has taken off and become a popular hangout for folks near and far.  Here are a few pics of some of the dishes we've enjoyed.

Other dishes like the specialty cakes for dessert are excellent.  Last night we sampled a Strawberry cake and a Margarita cake.  All good!  I won't show you the pics of those half devoured slices!

Another Great Dining Experience Near Lake Lanier In Cumming!

Anyone that's read this blog over the years, knows that I like to dine out, especially this time of year when things are a bit cold, wet and dreary.  Normally during the warmer months, I'll enjoy a lot of grilling on the patio and dining at one of our lakefront eateries.  Unfortunately, the weather this weekend prevented that from happening, so we had to head off lake.

Last night's excursion took us on a new experience to one of the most highly rated restaurants on Yelp in our area.  I've been dying to try this place, but honestly, the exterior of the restaurant is a true "hole in the wall", and I was a bit leery.  Worry no more!  And I am here to confirm that Baba's is everything the reviewers have proclaimed.  Located at 2310 Ronald Reagan Boulevard Suite A in Cumming, Baba's is quaint, neat, clean, and well run.  But most of all, Baba's serves some fantastic food!  They specialize in Mediterranean and Mid-Eastern dishes!  Think Greek, Lebanese, Persian and a little Italian too!  We tried the Lebanese and Persian dishes and were blown away.  Everything is made right on the spot, and the owners service the patrons in a top-notch, caring way.  This place is a fantastic find, with a steady flow of customers and repeat diners.  It's location is not too far from the Avenues of Forsyth shopping, so it is convenient after an evening of Christmas shopping.  Here are some of the links to check out before planning your trip to Baba's!  I assure you I will be returning soon.

Lake Lanier Real Estate! A Look Back At November Home Sales!

Today in Lake Lanier real estate, we are looking back at the sales stats from the month of November and the number of home sales on the lake looks pretty good!  Our reports are compiled monthly by utilizing search criteria that we have created in the FMLS system.  All homes are lakefront, and we only tally "stick built" homes, not mobile or modular homes.

November saw a total of 10 home sales on Lake Lanier.  Home sales prices ranged from $197,000 on the low end, up to $782,000 for the most expensive home sale.  The average build date for these homes was 1992 and the average home sold was a 4 bedroom, 3 and a half bath home.  $407,850 was the average sales price, and the average Total Days On Market was 170.
