Lake Lanier 4th Of July 2019 Fireworks Display At Athens Boat Club On Thompson Creek, Dawsonville, GA!

WOW! This fireworks show just keeps getting better every year! Last night's show was a perfect evening. The weather was warm but not terribly hot and the cool Lake Lanier waters of Thompson Creek were the perfect, relaxing setting for floating and watching the show.

We arrived at our spot and had a small, three boat flotilla tied up together. As more boats arrived, and the evening sunset came it, the beauty of Lake Lanier and this special evening came to life. It is a special time of year here at the lake. I must say that I look forward to this event each year now for months in advance! An evening on the water and the slow boat ride back home under the moonlight are so entertaining, relaxing and then peaceful. It is a special treat to see the lighted paths and interior lights of the waterfront homes along the lake as we return to our dock around 11 p.m. Just amazingly beautiful! Here are a few of the sights from our evening out...

The spring market is in full swing and May results are stronger after a slower first quarter. Early results for June also show strong sales results.
