Comparing 2014 to 2013, we found that approximately 30% more home sales have occurred so far this year when compared to 2013. That's a healthy increase in the number of transactions for the first eight months of the year. However, the average sales price of the homes that sold tells a little bit different story. Our research of those numbers detected only a slight increase in value of the average Lake Lanier home sale in 2014 compared to 2013, looking just at the first eight months of the year. The increase in value was approximately 0.005%.
Lake sales have been brisk lately with 33 homes selling in August, and things seem to be quite active into the first few weeks of September.
